Hi, Marc here - On Friday 09th May 2025 i’ll be heading out to Nepal for the amazing Annapurna Circuit Trek. This promises to be an adventure like no other! I’m looking for some like-minded adventurers to come and join me, for this one-off expedition to the Himalayas, with Walking in Circles and Skyline Treks Nepal.
So what can you expect?
Annapurna Circuit trek - The 10th highest mountain, the Annapurna Circuit is one of the most adventurous treks in the Annapurna Region. Located in the Annapurna region of Nepal, with some incredible views. Adventurous types prefer to trek around Annapurna due to its famous Annapurna massif and get to experience climbing above 8000m summits.
The Annapurna Circuit trek package goes through wonderful landscapes with majestic views of the white Himalayas such as; Annapurna Massif, Manaslu, Himchuli and many more. Although the trekking trail is quite challenging to the Thorong La Pass (5416m), the surrounding scenery is stunning due to its magnificent white Himalayas ranges on to the high and dry Tibetan Plateau.
Flight from London (or other international airport) to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel by our private vehicle.
Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat (1,300 M/4,266 FT) Distance: 225 Km, Duration: 8-9 Hours.
Jagat commence trek to Dharapani (1860m/6103ft) Distance: 12 Km, Duration: 6 Hours.
Dharapani trek to Chame (2,670 M/ 8,759 FT) Distance: 15 KM, Duration: 5 Hours.
Chame trek to Pisang (3,300 M/10,826 FT) Distance: 15 KM, Duration: 5 Hours.
Pisang trek to Manang (3,540 M/11,614 FT) Distance: 16 KM, Duration: 5-6 Hours.
Manang - Acclimatization Day, 3-4 Km, 2-3 Hours.
Manang trek to Yak Kharka (4,050 M/13,288 FT) Distance: 11 KM, Duration: 3 - 4 Hours.
Yak kharka trek to Throng Phedi (4,450 M/14,465 FT) Distance: 8 KM, Duration: 3 - 4 Hours.
Thorong Phedi trek to Muktinath (3802m) Over Thorong La Pass (5,416 M/17,770 FT) Distance: 16.5 KM, Duration: 7/8 Hours.
Muktinath to Jomsom (2715m/8910ft).
20-minutes flight back from Jomsom to Pokhara (827m/2,789ft).
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (stay in hotel): 6-7 hours.
Exploration and sightseeing day in Kathmandu. (Stay in hotel) evening farewell dinner at Nepali typical restaurant with live cultural show.
Departure to Airport and flight to London.
Arrive back in UK (or other international destination)

Annapurna Circuit trek

I recently completed the Annapurna Circuit and it was an unforgettable experience. The diversity of the landscapes was mind-blowing from lush subtropical forests to alpine meadows and arid high-altitude deserts. The highlight was crossing the Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters. It was physically demanding, but the sense of achievement was indescribable. The local people were incredibly hospitable, and I loved staying in the teahouses and experiencing Nepali culture firsthand.

Completing the Annapurna Circuit was a dream come true. The diversity in the landscape, from lush green valleys to rugged mountain passes, was simply awe-inspiring. The trek was well-organized, and the teahouses provided a cozy place to rest each night. The highlight was definitely reaching Thorong La Pass. it was a challenging ascent, but the views from the top were worth every bit of effort. Meeting people from all over the world and sharing this adventure with them made it even more special.
